You may only use this web site for lawful purposes. When using this website you must not:

Prices

The price payable for a product is the one set out on our website at the time you place your order. All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST.

In addition to the price for the goods you will also need to pay the advertised delivery charge. The delivery charge will appear in your shopping cart.

Prices displayed on our website are current at the time of issue but may change at any time. Prices are subject to change without notice.

Unless otherwise stated, any accessories shown in any images of products are not included in the price.

Product Specifications

Reproduction of colours is as accurate as possible, but please note colours on product delivered may vary slightly from what is displayed on your monitor.

Features and specifications of products described or depicted on this website are given in good faith and are believed to be appropriate and reliable. However they are subject to change without notice and are approximate.

Product Availability

We attempt to keep stock of most items listed on our website. All stock availability shown on this website is subject to change without notice.

If you order a product that is shown as available and we find it is not available or for any reason we cannot immediately supply the product you have ordered, we will let you know by e-mail and we will give you the option to amend, cancel or put your order on back order.

If the product you intend to purchase is shown as not immediately available you can still pay for it and place a back order.

If you choose to put your order on backorder, we will contact you to arrange for delivery once the product is available.

If part of your order is not in stock we will by default not dispatch your order until all products are in stock. If you would like us to partially deliver your order, please e-mail us.

Orders

All orders that you place on this website will be subject to acceptance in accordance with these terms and conditions. The confirmation stage sets out the final details of your order. Following this, we will send to you an order acknowledgment e-mail detailing the products you have ordered. Please note that this e-mail is not an order confirmation or order acceptance. Acceptance of your order will take place upon the booking of your order for delivery. There will be a handling fee charged if the order is cancelled after this point.

BrisbaneFurniture.com.au is an online business and will primarily communicate with customers via e-mail. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the correct contact details are entered and that the nominated e-mail address is regularly checked for correspondence.

BrisbaneFurniture.com.au, at its sole discretion, may cancel your order at any time prior to dispatch of the goods.

In the event of a cancelled order, funds paid for that order will be refunded as soon as is reasonably practicable. You will be provided with e-mail acknowledgements of the cancellation and refund.

Your tax invoice is your proof of purchase and is required for any warranty claims

Payment 

You may pay for your order using the following methods: Visa; Master Card, AMEX, Zip Pay or Zip Money.

Payment processing services offered via the site are outsourced to third party providers.

You will be required to provide them with the following details on your Visa or Master Card; card type, name on card, card number, 3-digit card verification value (CVV2) and the card expiry date.

You must not pay, or attempt to pay, for products through any fraudulent or unlawful means.

Delivery 

Freight costs

Our online shopping cart will present you with the available delivery areas. If you are outside of those areas, you are welcome to use the Brisbane Pickup option and arrange your own transport.

Delivery area

Whilst we try to offer a door to door service throughout most of South-East Queensland, if your location is outside of our delivery areas we will not be able to service your location. In this case you will recieve a full refund instead.

Delivery times

Estimated delivery times are:
Brisbane & Outer-Brisbane – 1 to 4 business days
Gold Coast & Sunshine Coast – 1 to 7 business days
Note these are estimates only.

Tracking

We will contact you directly so that you will know when to expect your delivery. On the day of delivery, the driver will give you a courtesy call to let you know he is on his way.

Receiving an order

If no one is able to be at the nominated address at the nominated delivery time, you are able to provide us with authority to leave the goods unattended. However, in this case, BrisbaneFurniture.com.au can not be held liable for any loss, theft or damage to your item.
The delivery driver will need assistance to carry items to your door that weigh over 25kg per OH&S requirements.

Insurance

Delivery insurance is included in the price so that you are always covered if your goods are lost or damaged in transit.

Non arrival of order

It is the responsibility of the customer to inform us if an order does not arrive. Once we learn an order has not arrived we will lodge enquiries with our delivery partners. We will not despatch a replacement item until our enquiries are finalised.

Liability

While BrisbaneFurniture.com.au aims to have all orders delivered in a prompt and timely manner we will not accept liability for any loss or damage arising from a late delivery.
It is the customer’s obligation to enter the correct delivery address at the time of ordering. Should you enter the wrong address you are responsible for the extra transport fees incurred.

Damage on arrival

It is the customers responsibility to inspect the goods once they arrive and report any damage within 24 hours of receipt of goods. When reporting damage adequate photos of the damage and the condition of the packaging will need to be included. We will arrange for a replacement item to be sent to you at our cost as soon as possible after notification.

Pickup and Storage Terms

Order Pickup Deadline

Upon placing an order, customers are expected to collect or arrange the shipment within a reasonable time frame, not exceeding 12 months from the date of purchase.

Storage Fee & Cancellation Policy

In the event an order remains uncollected after the 12-month period, a storage fee will be applied. This fee will be equivalent to 100% of the order's total value. At this point the order will be automatically cancelled without a refund issued.

Waiver of Responsibility

The responsibility to claim the order within the stipulated time frame lies with the customer. Failure to do so will result in the application of the storage fee as outlined and cancellation of the order.

Storage Duration

The 12-month period begins from the date of purchase and extends until the end of the 12th month thereafter.

Discretion

Our company reserves the right to review and make exceptions to this policy on a case-by-case basis under exceptional circumstances. Requests for extensions or waivers must be made in writing and are subject to approval at our discretion.

Title and risk in Goods

Title to and risk in the products passes to the customer upon delivery of the product to the Customer.

7-Day Money Back Guarantee

BrisbaneFurniture.com.au provides an unconditional return policy on all items. If for any reason whatsoever you are not satisfied, please return in original, unmarked condition and packaging. Notify us by e-mail within 7 days of receiving your order for a full refund less freight.

Prior to returning your product, please e-mail BrisbaneFurniture.com.au. Our customer service team will provide you with all relevant information and steps to proceed with the return. Please do not attempt to return any goods before contacting our team.

The product must be returned in its original packaging, in an unmarked and unused condition, unassembled (where relevant) and complete with any accessories. A restocking fee applied if the item is returned without the original packaging intact.

Any delivery/shipping charges and other fees incurred by you or us are non-refundable.

Once we receive and check the returned item we will issue a refund within 5 working days.

BrisbaneFurniture.com.au Warranty

Products sold on this website are covered by a 12 month BrisbaneFurniture.com.au warranty.

This warranty covers the replacement or repair of any product that has a manufacturing or material defect that is not the result of normal wear and tear, or a natural characteristic of the material used. This warranty is not transferable and does not cover products used for commercial purposes. In addition this warranty will not apply if;

  1. Unauthorised repairs are carried out on the product
  2. The product has been modified, tampered with in any way, incorrectly adjusted or operated.
  3. The customer has used the product in an abnormal manner for example if the product has been abused, misused, dropped, crushed, impacted with any hard surfaces, exposed to extreme heat, cold or moisture or used after partial failure.

Consumer Guarantees

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

How to make a Warranty Claim

If an item should fail as a result of a manufacturing fault or material defect under normal domestic use, BrisbaneFurniture.com.au will repair or replace the failed item or compensate for the loss of value.

In the event of a failure it is the customer’s responsibility to contact BrisbaneFurniture.com.au via the Contact Us page. Our Customer service team will then provide you with all relevant information and steps to make a claim.
