Delivery
Freight costs
Our online shopping cart will present you with the available delivery areas. If you are outside of those areas, you are welcome to use the Brisbane Pickup option and arrange your own transport.
Delivery area
Whilst we try to offer a door to door service throughout most of South-East Queensland, if your location is outside of our delivery areas we will not be able to service your location. In this case you will recieve a full refund instead.
Delivery times
Estimated delivery times are:
Brisbane & Outer-Brisbane – 1 to 4 business days
Gold Coast & Sunshine Coast – 1 to 7 business days
Note these are estimates only.
Tracking
We will contact you directly so that you will know when to expect your delivery. On the day of delivery, the driver will give you a courtesy call to let you know he is on his way.
Receiving an order
If no one is able to be at the nominated address at the nominated delivery time, you are able to provide us with authority to leave the goods unattended. However, in this case, BrisbaneFurniture.com.au can not be held liable for any loss, theft or damage to your item.
The delivery driver will need assistance to carry items to your door that weigh over 25kg per OH&S requirements.
Insurance
Delivery insurance is included in the price so that you are always covered if your goods are lost or damaged in transit.
Non arrival of order
It is the responsibility of the customer to inform us if an order does not arrive. Once we learn an order has not arrived we will lodge enquiries with our delivery partners. We will not despatch a replacement item until our enquiries are finalised.
Liability
While BrisbaneFurniture.com.au aims to have all orders delivered in a prompt and timely manner we will not accept liability for any loss or damage arising from a late delivery.
It is the customer’s obligation to enter the correct delivery address at the time of ordering. Should you enter the wrong address you are responsible for the extra transport fees incurred.
Damage on arrival
It is the customers responsibility to inspect the goods once they arrive and report any damage within 24 hours of receipt of goods. When reporting damage adequate photos of the damage and the condition of the packaging will need to be included. We will arrange for a replacement item to be sent to you at our cost as soon as possible after notification.
