A truly versatile timber the Radiata Pine (Pinus Radiata) is a fast growing softwood valued for rapid growth and desirable lumbar. Native to the Central Coast of California and Mexico, Radiata pine is the most widely planted pine in the world. Growing to a height of 30m in the wild it can grow up to an astonishing 60m in height in optimum cultivation conditions.

  

Growing very straight and tall Radiata pine farmers use specific pruning techniques to create superior quality knot free timber with colouring ranging from creamy white through to chestnut brown.

The common uses for Radiata pine are virtually limitless including structural and laminated timber beams , decking, fencing, exterior cladding and window sashes through to decorative applications such as framing and furniture production.
